NEET UG 2024 Exam Date
The official exam date for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) 2024 has been announced by the National Testing Agency. It will take place on May 05, 2024, for aspirants seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses in government/private medical and dental colleges across India. The exam will be conducted offline with a duration of 3 hours and 20 minutes, from 02:00 pm to 05:30 pm nationwide, with participation from lakhs of aspirants.
NEET UG 2024 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply for NEET UG 2024 and seek admission into MBBS or BDS courses, individuals must have passed the Intermediate exam from a recognized state or central board with a PCB (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) stream. Additionally, candidates who have completed their 12th with PCM (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) can also apply if Biology is an optional subject. Students appearing in the Class 12 Exam in 2024 or awaiting results are also eligible to sit for NEET (UG) 2024.
NEET UG 2024 Application Fee
The application fee for the National Eligibility cum Entrance (Undergraduate) 2024 is ₹1700 for General category candidates. Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer) and Economically Weaker Section candidates are required to pay ₹1600. Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Physically Handicapped, and Third Gender candidates need to pay only ₹1000.
