Eligibility Criteria
- Assistant Professor: No upper age limit.
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Maximum age of 30 years. Age relaxations apply: 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Female candidates.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a postgraduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks in the relevant subject. A 5% relaxation in marks is provided for OBC/SC/ST candidates.
Selection Process
The selection for UGC NET 2024 will be based on an online computer-based test consisting of two papers. The first paper is worth 100 marks and the second paper 200 marks, with no negative marking for incorrect answers.
