Eligibility Criteria for UPSC CMS 2024

For those considering the Combined Medical Services 2024 exam, understanding the eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualifications and age limitations is crucial. Here’s a breakdown:

Educational Qualification:

  • Successful completion of the final M.B.B.S. Examination is mandatory to qualify for the Combined Medical Services Examination 2024.
  • Candidates who are yet to finish their compulsory rotating internship are also eligible. However, their admission will be provisional until the internship is completed.

Age Limit:

  • As of August 1, 2024, candidates should not exceed 32 years of age for most services/posts in the Combined Medical Services Examination 2024.
  • The upper age limit for Medical Officers Grade in the General Duty Medical Officers Sub-cadre of Central Health Services is 35 years.
