YASASVI Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the YASASVI scholarship exam, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants must be Indian Nationals.
  • They must belong to the OBC, EBC, or DNT category.

  • Candidates must have passed either Class 8 or Class 10 in the academic year 2024-23.

Scholarship Awards

The scholarships are awarded at two levels:

  1. For students in Class IX.

Cancellation of YASASVI Entrance Test 2024

Initially, the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment had tasked the National Testing Agency (NTA) with conducting the YASASVI Entrance Test (YET) 2024 for selecting candidates from OBC, EBC, and DNT categories studying in Class IX and Class XI. However, the Ministry has now decided to cancel the entrance test for this year.

Instead, selection will be based on merit, considering the marks obtained in Class VIII and X, as applicable, following the scheme guidelines. Candidates achieving 60% or above in these classes are eligible to apply through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

The YET-2024, previously scheduled for September 29, 2024, has been officially cancelled.

YASASVI Entrance Test 2024

The YASASVI Entrance Test (YET) is a computer-based exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the PM YASASVI Scholarship 2024. It evaluates the academic potential of students belonging to the Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Backward Classes (EBC), and De-Notified, Nomadic & Semi Nomadic Tribes (DNT/SNT) categories.

YASASVI Entrance Exam Pattern 2024
