Vacancy Details:
The RPF has officially announced 4208 vacancies for Constables and 452 vacancies for Sub Inspectors. Candidates can check the reservation details upon the release of the notification.
Eligibility Criteria:
For Constable and Sub Inspector positions, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria regarding educational qualifications and age limits:
Educational Qualification:
- SI: Bachelor’s degree from a UGC recognized University
- Constable: Matriculation exam pass
Age Limit:
- SI: 20 to 25 years
- Constable: 18 to 25 years Upper age relaxation is applicable for OBC, SC/ST, and OBC candidates for 10 years.
Application Fee:
Candidates applying online for Constable or Sub Inspector positions under RPF are required to pay an application fee of ₹500 via debit card, credit card, NET banking, or UPI. However, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Extremely Backward Class, and females are required to pay only ₹250.
Selection Process: The selection process for Constable and Sub Inspector positions under the Railway Protection Force includes three stages: Computer-Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Physical Measurement Test (PMT).
