TS SET Telangana State Eligibility Test
Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree from a UGC recognized university with at least 55% marks for General candidates and 50% for BC/SC/ST/PH/VH. Those in their final year of Post Graduate studies are eligible. Conditions include pursuing or completing PG studies in related subjects, securing 55% marks (or 50% for BC/SC/ST/PH/VH), and awaiting results. Ph.D. holders up to September 19, 1991, with 55% marks (or 50% for reserved categories) are eligible. Applicants must appear for SET in their PG subject. Successful candidates qualify for Asst. Professor/Lecturer positions in Telangana’s universities and colleges. Candidates must self-declare their social status (BC/SC/ST/VH). Their eligibility will be verified post-qualification. No mark sheets are issued, and no revaluations are permitted. Certificates are awarded based on thorough verification. There’s no upper age limit, and candidates can attempt the exam multiple times.
TS SET Exam Pattern
Telangana State Eligibility Test 2024 will be in objective mode, comprising 2 papers. Each paper, held on the same day in separate sessions, features multiple-choice questions.
